Roadside Picnic is the novel that S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl is (very loosely) based on, it's not an acknowledged or apparent influence on Fallout given its themes are primarily environmentalism, which didn't really make it into the game based on it, either.
