Feb 17, 2021 · Song of Solomon 2:3-6. There is some debate about the symbolism of raisin cakes in the bible. At one point the Lord speaks to Hosea that the Israelites "look to other gods and love the raisin cakes of the pagans." Evidently the pagans were using cakes of raisins as offerings to false gods. YUCK.
