There are several locations in the Bloom world map. All but the starting location must be unlocked, either by using Magical Pollen to break down magic barriers or by finding the proper tool to remove a blockade.

The Homestead is the first truly playable location in the game. Upon interacting with the "start" panel at the entrance hill, one will be standing at the doorstep looking out at the area. The tutorial takes place here, and 3 tools (Watering Can, Trowel, and Pruner) are in this location. Directly adjacent to the homestead are locations The Thicket, Meddler's Maze, Central Garden, and Overgrowth.

Several plants are located in the homestead, however, it is one of the locations in which a special plant does not spawn when all clutter has been cleared.

The Central Garden is the second available location. It is unlocked with only one Magical Pollen, ending the tutorial. Locations accessible from the Central Garden are the Homestead, Royal Atrium, and Wanderer's Hill.

The Central Garden introduces a new plant species, Hydrangea, with three color variants, as well as Cattails along its shore. A special plant, Triostar, spawns after clearing the garden of clutter.

Wanderer's Hill can be accessed immediately after unlocking the Magic Barrier of the Central Garden by following the main path up to the Royal Atrium and turning right. The next tool, the Hatchet, is lodged in a stump next to the Old Watchtower. The locations accessible from Wanderer's Hill are the Overgrowth and Arcane Hollow.

Two new plants grow in Wanderer's Hill, the Lilac and Sunflower. When all the clutter has been cleared, a Spiderwort appears.

The Royal Atrium can only be reached through the Central Garden, and requires 8 Magic Pollen to destroy the barrier at its entrance. Inside and dead center, there is a small statue area with space to plant inside of it and a gardening table at its back, as well as the next available tool, Shears. To its left and right, there are two wings full of raised beds that one may garden in; in total, 220 available spaces. At the back of each wing are four chests, two single and two double. These chests contain several flower clippings. At the bottom of the screen, after the location title, there is text that reads "0/15 Plant Species Grown"- this will increase as the game is played and the player plants more. Growing 15 plant species will unlock the gate at the back, the final space.

Unless one has not yet travelled to Wanderer's Hill, there are no new plants in the Royal Atrium. There are, however, plant clippings in the aforementioned chests, as well as some decaying plants in the overgrown gardening boxes.

The Thicket is to the south of the Homestead. It is only accessible after finding the Hatchet within Wanderer's Hill and using it to break down the wall of sticks at the entrance. The locations one may reach from the Thicket are the Homestead, Meddler's Maze, and Sunshade Glade. In a small clearing with logs set up around a fire, there is a book titled Arcane Study.

Only one new plant is found in The Thicket, the Foxglove, and no special plant appears after clearing out its clutter.

Sunshade Glade is unlocked along with The Thicket. It can be found very easily by following the entrance path. Sunshade Glade has two notable features; the first is a magical sundial that allows you to switch from day to night and vice versa. The second is a magic portal that must be upgraded once before use. Locations accessible from Sunshade Glade are The Thicket and the starting hill (unnamed).

Two new varieties of Foxglove can be found here, as well as the special plant Prince of Orange that grows when all the clutter has been cleared.

Meddler's Maze can be unlocked either by clearing the removable hedges at the Homestead entrance, or by doing the same at the secret Thicket entrance. Both must be achieved with the Shears tool. Meddler's Maze is a labyrinth, containing a space for the special plant, a secret destroyable wall entrance to the Thicket, and a fountain at the center. Once one completes the maze, they will receive the final tool, the Mattock, and be able to unlock a gate for easier access to the center fountain.

Meddler's Maze introduces 4 colors of Rose, as well as the Monstera plant that appears once all the clutter has been cleared.

The Overgrowth can be accessed by using 32 Magical Pollen to destroy the Magic Barrier found in Wanderer's Hill. It is connected to Wanderer's Hill, Homestead, and the Grand Library.

The new plants that grow in the Overgrowth are Agave, Bleeding Hearts, and the special plant Golden Bleeding Hearts that grows once all clutter has been cleared.

The Grand Library can be accessed through the Overgrowth by using 64 Magical Pollen to destroy the barrier. The Grand Library contains shelves of books that, upon walking close to them, display crafting recipes for various furniture items. The Grand Library is free of clutter and introduces no new plants or locations.
