    • She Submits to Her Husband in Christian Marriage. Colossians 3:18 says… “Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.” Rather than sinfully seeking dominance over her spouse, a godly woman should submit to her husband as he follows the Lord in their marriage.

Yet, I love the word “merely.” It literally means: “Don’t just be beautiful on the outside; be beautiful on the inside.” God commands you here to have a beautiful heart.
