Oct 14, 2019 · I am looking for a myth I can homebrew, or a preexisting monster in one of the handbooks that would kidnap a full grown adult. Most things I find mostly go after children and this person is in her late 20s to mid 30s (aka obviously not a child).
you can do fun spins on existing monsters, exploring new and interesting angles. which is easier to do with a well established and developed monster that has plenty of media to draw inspiration from. However something about it feels bland and recycled.
My favorite way to make a monster tougher is to add class levels. Minotaurs are strong but what if they had 2 or 3 levels in barbarian (extra hp, saves, and bab, as well as rage powers)? Perhaps the lizardmen also have a few Rangers with them who have humans as their favored enemy.
I’ll give them all elemental combos (with preexisting elements) you could provide the elements, name, or just a description. I’ll also draw concepts or decorations as monsters (image unrelated)
