Paula Zahn Biography. A graduate of Stephens College in Columbia, MO, Zahn began reporting for WFAA-TV, the ABC affiliate in Dallas. In 1979 she moved to San Diego to work for the CBS affiliate. Zahn worked at stations in Houston, Boston, and Los Angeles, before joining ABC News in 1987.
