The Classic is an upcoming event themed around "classic Roblox". Similar to The Hunt: First Edition, this event will feature portals to user-created experiences; upon completion of limited-time tasks, users can claim exclusive prizes. The event will begin on May 23, 2024.

In the same post, he stated he had "been enjoying a replay of the first game [he] built on Roblox" and included a link to the experience Crossroads. On May 14, 2024, the event's start date, May 23, 2024, was announced in an X video featuring older accessories (creation dates spanning 2008-2014).
Roblox posted a second video to X on May 17, 2024. The video begins with two players resembling John Doe and Jane Doe walking through The Hunt portals and slowly transitioning into The Classic map. The text "Events are back!!" appears before an explosion, then The Classic's official logo and start date appear on screen.
