MISSING FRIENDS is a quest in OMORI, serving as one of the mandatory HEADSPACE quests required for completion to progress the story. It is made available upon reaching the entrance of LAST RESORT on TWO DAYS LEFT.
The area has changed significantly, as it's populated with objects hinting at vague memories with his friends. OMORI is guided to the previously-locked BARNHOUSE by a shadowy BASIL , which now has a red glow coming from within.
If you'll recall, Dream Basil initially disappeared when the memory of Mari's death was hinted at early on. From then on, we regularly see SOMETHING in the dream as well as clearly having memories of Basil's haunted face, likely recalled from that fateful day.
