There don’t appear to be any designated accessible parking spaces along Ferndell Drive near the trailhead, but there are a couple of designated accessible parking spots near the Firebreak Trail to Griffith Observatory trailhead (marked by a waypoint on the map).

Visitors should use the Brush Canyon Trail from Canyon Drive, two blocks to the east of Beachwood Drive off Franklin, or Griffith Observatory. Canyon has a parking lot, sidewalks, trash cans, and facilities for visitors. Parking is limited and fills up quickly at Griffith Park so using the DASH Observatory shuttle is recommended.

Parked at Griffith Observatory and started at Mt Hollywood Dr, past the Hollywood sign, up Cahuenga Peak to Wisdom Tree. Trail to Hollywood sign is flat with horse poop along the trail. We cut up to Taco Peak and Mount Whitney and come out through Mt. Lee. Trail to Cahuenga Peak is rocky and steep.
2.6 miles to Griffith Observatory and back with 600 feet of elevation; Free street parking; Getting There. You will want to enter the park at the entrance on the corner of Los Feliz Blvd and Ferndell Drive. As soon as you enter, you can look for parking along the street. On a weekday, it is not usually too bad but on a weekend it fills up quick.
