  5. The weather cooperated wonderfully as it as a beautiful Friday, July 4th day in 1952. A cemetery tent, borrowed from the local funeral home, was put up in the yard and everything was made ready. From its outset, the reunion was an organized event. In 1952, a moderator was elected for the family.
