General Question. I posted this question in the r/rolex sub and I got nuked, but it’s an honest question from a guy owning a Casio gbd-200. What makes a Rolex so expensive, as it just look like a mechanical watch, no smart features, nada.
We all know Rolex watches are expensive. Many of them have expensive gems and precious metals such as gold and platinum. If you were to strip the expensive metals and gems from let’s say a $10,000 Rolex, what makes it expensive? Better gears? Better longer lasting hair springs? Are the gears made out of titanium? Is it just the name?
