WikiProject Film is a WikiProject dedicated to building comprehensive and detailed articles on Wikipedia about topics related to films. Please feel free to add yourself to the project.
My advice would be to look at the Featured Articles and Featured Lists here: Wikipedia:WikiProject_Actors_and_Filmmakers#Articles. As Marnette says, lengthy/full lists are often spun out into their own articles (as with Charlie Chaplin, whose biography article and Filmography List article are both FA class).
The criteria for High priority is: Actors and filmmakers who are well-known in the film industry, to film buffs, and others. These people can reasonably be expected to be included in any print encyclopedia.
