    As a member of the Coalition for Access, Affordability, and Success, the University of Florida uses the Coalition Application.     The redesigned SAT will now consist of two sections (evidence-based reading and writing and math) with an optional essay. The score scale will range from 400 to 1600 with the essay being scored separately. The total test time is now 3 hours (+50 minutes if taking the SAT with essay).
