Arriba (/ ˌ ær ɪ b ɑː ˌ /) is a Statutory Town located in Lincoln County, Colorado, United States. The town population was 202 at the 2020 United States census. Arriba is the Spanish word for "on high" or "above others."
The railroad foreman named this place “Arriba” (pronounced Ah-ree-ba). That pronunciation held true until latecomers began slurring the word. Today it is commonly referred to as “Air-Ah-Buh”. Now that train service appeared imminent, Creel could build a REAL farm house to replace his tent.
