    • PONT D’AVIGNON. When we first arrived in France, I bought an antique painting featuring a pretty bridge adorned with a petite chapel. It wasn’t until we moved to Provence a year later, that I recognised it as Avignon’s Pont Saint-Bénézet (often simply called Pont d’Avignon).
