LNER Peppercorn Class A2 No. 60532 Blue Peter is a 4-6-2 ("Pacific") steam locomotive built in 1948 at Doncaster Works to a design by Arthur Peppercorn, hauling express passenger services on British Railways' North Eastern Region. It is the only Peppercorn A2 in existence after the 14 other locomotives of its class were scrapped.
60532 Blue Peter – Preserved British Steam Locomotives. The locomotive was out shopped at Doncaster by the newly formed British Railways in March 1948, painted in apple-green of the old LNER but numbered 60532 with British Railways on its tender sides.

Even though its not taking part in the Severn Valley Railway’s upcoming Spring Steam Gala, it is planned for ex LNER A2 Pacific No. 60532 "Blue Peter", to be on display in light steam during the their Spring Steam Gala on the 18th to 21st of April 2024.
