  7. Oct 9, 2012 · The former manager of Bob Marley Danny Sims, died in Los Angeles, U.S. on Sunday. Danny Sims signed Bob Marley and the Wailers in 1967 to a five-year contract. Sims later sold the remainder of Marley's contract in 1972. Thereafter he reunited with Marley and became his manager before the reggae icon died in 1981.
