We offer half day (4 hour) trips on Fontana Lake. We primarily target smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, spotted bass, white bass, and trout, but occasionally target and encounter other lake species as well. We provide all the essential gear you need to have a great experience on the water.

With over 230 miles of scenic shoreline, Fontana Lake offers a broad range of fishing opportunities. Well known as a bass tournament lake, it is home to bass over 10 pounds. Healthy populations crappie, perch, bluegill and walleye make this an excellent choice for fish-fry outings.
The upper stretch of the lake fishes much like a tailwater river, and a close eye on generation schedules from Fontana Dam is highly advisable. Both lakes — the 26 mile-long Fontana and the smaller Cheoah — provide exceptional boating for recreation and fishing.
