He was understandably a bit reluctant to talk about Generation Kill but this was what he had to say to me about it: "It definitely had the "Hollywood magic dust" on it.

Only Trombley was portrayed as a remorseless baby killer without compunctions, his swagger to be taken at face value and his internal thoughts kept hidden from the audience. Last I heard he's still married with kids and was running for public office in what-I-think-was Michigan.
