Land of the Giants is a one-hour American science fiction television series that aired on ABC for two seasons, beginning on September 22, 1968, and ending on March 22, 1970. The show was created and produced by Irwin Allen. Land of the Giants was Allen's fourth science-fiction TV series.

Sun, Sep 22, 1968. On June 12, 1983, a sub-orbital aircraft named the Spindrift flying from Los Angeles is pulled into a space warp which transports its crew and passengers into another dimension. The ship eventually lands on a planet where everything is 12 times larger than normal.
The year: 1983. A suborbital flight to London is mysteriously diverted to a land inhabited by giants. The travelers are trapped in a human-sized village, where they become the playthings of an inventor (Percy Helton) and his sadistic grandchild (Amber Flower).
Just beyond Earth's boundary with space, the Spindrift encounters a magnetic space storm, and is dragged through a space warp to a mysterious planet where everything is twelve times larger than on Earth, whose inhabitants the Earthlings nickname "the Giants".
