The new Netflix remake of Rebecca, the film directed by Alfred Hitchcock that won two Oscars in 1940, is revisiting the iconic stately home of Manderley. Rebecca was filmed in the French Riviera and the United Kingdom; Manderley is an amalgam of several filming locations. The original story is based on the 1938 novel by Daphne du Maurier.
