May 15, 2020 · GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) –Flame is a group of musicians who all happen to have a disability. The Lexington chapter of The Arc started the band after Lead Singer and Guitarist, Michelle King, won a talent show using her gift of voice. Something doctors said King would never develop.
From Gloversville, Michelle is the lead vocalist and guitar player with Flame, a band formed at Lexington, a Chapter of the ARC New York, located in Johnstown. Michelle is a person with autism, but she has not let that stop her from achieving and exceeding her musical goals.
