- Activating via Phone: Make sure that you have your SIM receipt. During the activation process, you'll be asked to provide information from the receipt. Open your phone's "Phone" app.
- Activating Online: Open the Verizon website. Go to https://www.verizonwireless.com/my-verizon/. Sign into your account. Enter your phone number (or user ID) and password in the appropriate fields on the left side of the page, then click Sign in.
If you want to upgrade or your phone gets broken, you can activate a new device on your line through My Verizon: Click Change Device in My Verizon to go to the Change Device page. Enter the Device ID of the new device you want to use on your account.
