    • Emily Is Really Dolores During William's Fidelity Test. At the end of season 2, William appears to be undergoing his own fidelity test sometime in the (distant) future, undertaken by his daughter Emily.
    • Fans Have Seen Bernard In The Sublime Already. Time can get ambiguous in Westworld, so it's not surprising that scenes can be interpreted a few different ways; such as taking place in the present, the past, or the future.
    • Dolores Met Juliet At Another Time Besides The Retirement Party. Dolores comes face to face with William's wife Juliet at James Delos's retirement party, but there are some clues fans have found that inspire a theory that she might actually have run into her before that.
    • Ford Was A Host. Ford was one of the most intriguing characters in season 1, particularly because of his philosophical conversations and worldview. After his death, there was a keenly felt void, but his influence over Westworld even in future seasons can't be understated.

    • Everyone is a robot. OK, maybe it’s not everyone. But after James Marsden’s character Teddy is shockingly killed in the beginning of the show — remember, the bullets in Westworld can only kill the robots — we’re left wondering who’s real and who isn’t.
    • The Man in Black was involved in the “critical failure” 30 years ago. We learn from Bernard that the park hasn’t had a “critical failure” in over 30 years.
    • The Man in Black reprogrammed Dolores. One of the most horrifying moments happens in the very beginning of the premiere. After the Man in Black kills Teddy, he drags Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) away to a barn.
    • Ford is intentionally making the robots malfunction. Damn. Dolores just killed a fly, y’all! Shiz is about to go down in Westworld, and we think Anthony Hopkins is behind it all.
    • Is Christina in another park? Season three ended with Dolores being hooked up to the artificial intelligence Rehoboam, having her memories erased until she apparently dies.
    • Is Christina in a simulation? Alternatively, Christina could be inside some sort of simulation, perhaps one that the Man in Black and Charlotte have set up with the goal of getting the encryption key to the Forge data from Dolores.
    • Is Christina in the Sublime? The season four premiere ends with the surprise return of Teddy, who we last saw being uploaded into the Sublime, the virtual world where hosts can live free of humans.
    • Is Caleb dead? Maeve's first scene of the season sees her sitting by a fire recalling various memories, and we get a quick glimpse of bloodied Caleb, presumably at some point during the war that occurred between seasons three and four.
