On March 06, 2017 Hyundai Motor Company notified Hyundai Motor America of a potential issue relating to the Electronic Power Steering on certain 2017 model year Elantra sedans. The EPS motor connector may have been damaged during assembly at the supplier preventing a proper connection to the electronic control unit.
