Chiquilladas is a Mexican sketch and musical show that used only children as actors. First aired on Mexican television in 1982, it ran until 1993. During its run it was the first to showcase various Mexican artists including Carlos Espejel, Pierre Angelo, Aleks Syntek, Lucero and Anahí.
Alejandro Escajadillo Peña, más conocido como Aleks Syntek, siguió en la industria del entretenimiento después de estar dos años en Chiquilladas. Recordado por su actuación como Maloso Panda, Syntek dejó la actuación por la música y formó el grupo Aleks Syntek y la Gente Normal, con quien debutó en 1990.
