Austin Street Center is a low barrier shelter that provides safe housing and basic needs to the most vulnerable homeless in Dallas. It also offers a variety of services and programs to help clients regain their independence and find permanent housing.
The Austin Street Center team is comprised of experienced leaders in the homeless space with a natural passion to serve others. Each team member has been carefully selected due to their specific expertise and shared goal of being a part of the solution to homelessness.

In June 2022, Austin Street opened The Austin Street Center for Community Engagement. The new 60,000 square-feet, 24/7, client-focused homeless shelter and day service center expands much needed services for the men and women of Dallas in need.
