    • Bug. The Bug-type gets a bad reputation and it kind of deserves it. Except for some really noteworthy members that considerably elevate the type's stat average, most of its Pokémon are quite weak.
    • Ice. Ice moves are super effective against four different types, including the overpowered Dragon. Ice Pokémon, however, are weak against four types and are only capable of resisting themselves.
    • Normal. Normal Pokémon, as their name suggests, aren't the most interesting, though they can be quite cute. They aren't super effective against anything, are resisted by Rock and Steel, are weak to Fighting, and share a mutual immunity to Ghost.
    • Grass. Grass is in a similar situation to Bug when discussing the strongest Pokémon types. It is also resisted by seven types and it is actually weak to five instead of three.

    • Ground. Ground Tera types found in the wild are: Wild Tera Houndstone. Wild Tera Growlithe. Wild Tera Axew. Wild Tera Wugtrio. Ground overlaps with Rock in many ways but is by far a better standalone type.
    • Electric – Pikachu. When You Think Pokemon, You Think Pikachu. Simply put, it's hard to make the argument that there's a better or more iconic Pokemon than Pikachu.
    • Fire – Charizard. It's Iconic For A Good Reason. Few Pokemon are more iconic than the Fire/Flying-type Charizard, the fully-evolved form of Gen one starter Charmander.
    • Water – Greninja. How Many Pokemon Become Their Own Trainers? There have been many iconic and great Water-types from throughout the Pokemon franchise, especially when you limit the selection to just fully-evolved starters.
    • Ghost – Gengar. You'll Never Forget That Smile. Many Pokemon fans might see Gengar's face in their nightmares. This Ghost/Poison-type Pokemon was introduced in the first generation games, evolving from Haunter after being traded.
