William Mills "Bill" Irwin (born April 11, 1950) is an American actor and clown who appeared in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as profilic serial killer Nate Haskell. He also portrayed as Lou Lou Who from the movie of Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas in 2000.
He has regularly appeared as Dr. Peter Lindstrom on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and had a recurring role as "The Dick & Jane Killer" on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. From 2017 to 2019, he appeared as Cary Loudermilk on the FX television series Legion.
Bill Irwin won the 2005 Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play, for his performance in "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?". He was also nominated for four Tony Awards as an actor, author, director, and choreographer.
