Du Sautoy may be best known to film audiences for her role as the belly-dancing Lebanese temptress Saida in the 1974 James Bond film The Man with the Golden Gun.
After finding out that the bullet is now her belly button lucky charm, Bond tries to seduce her whilst attempting to steal it. Just as he kisses her abdomen, some goons break in and he swallows the bullet! After dealing with the goons, he makes a quick exit and takes it to Q for examination.
After the credits, Bond traveled to Beirut to confirm his suspicions about Scaramanga. In a cabaret, he spied the golden bullet fashioned as a decorative lucky charm - a navel ring in the belly-button of dancer Saida (Carmen du Sautoy).
