Also played on Jimmy’s 1978 album “Greatest Bluegrass Hits.” 1969, had his own regional band and filled in with Bob Paisley, Seldom Scene, Hot Mudd Family, Bill Harrell, Jim and Jesse, others.
May 6, 2008 · Chris Warner is Back Again. Banjo players – and fans of Jimmy Martin – know Chris Warner for his driving style and hard hitting approach to the five string. Chris worked twice for Martin as a member of his Sunny Mountain Boys, from 1967-69, and again in the late 1980s.

Doyle’s history with Warner goes back to 1967, when the latter began a two year stint with the legendary Jimmy Martin.
Chris Warner, of Berlin, PA, is a Bluegrass banjo player who has played music all his life. He plays locally with the bluegrass band Bluestone, but for a time he toured with Jimmy Martin and lived in Nashville.

May 8, 2019 · During 1968 and 1969, Chris recorded a total of nine cuts with Jimmy Martin including “Freeborn Man” and “Milwaukee Here I Come.”. Later in 1978, Chris Warner recorded four cuts on Jimmy Martin’s “Greatest Bluegrass Hits”.
