The Peninsula Depot will be open 9:00 a.m. – 1:40 p.m. and Akron will be open 9:00 a.m. — 3:00 p.m. on days the National Park Scenic train ride is running.
The train offers an excellent view of the natural scenery and wildlife of the national park and an opportunity to learn about the history of the railroad in valley. The train runs through Cuyahoga Valley National Park with stations from Independence to Akron. Duration: 2-3 hours.

The park is a refuge for native plants and wildlife, and provides routes of discovery for visitors. The winding Cuyahoga River gives way to deep forests, rolling hills, and open farmlands. Walk or ride the Towpath Trail to follow the historic route of the Ohio & Erie Canal.

Tickets for the National Park Scenic ride start at $18 for adults and $13 for children (ages 3-12) plus fees. Other seating options may be available for an additional charge.
