- Linda Cardellini As Lindsay Weir. Linda Cardellini plays Lindsay Weir, the central protagonist of the Freaks and Geeks cast. Lindsay is introduced as a precocious, hard-working student before falling in with the “freaks” in an attempt to redefine herself after her grandmother's death.
