Hay bales are in just about every shot around town. This scene made me realize how long it's been since Logan and Rory had a good walking shot. The romantic rainy NY night in The Great Stink was half-ruined by poor dialogue.
During Stars Hollow's annual Spring Fling festival, a huge hay bale maze leads to a chance encounter for Luke and Lorelai, where they apologize to one another and talk about the problems that led to their engagement being called off.
