John Henry Kelley (July 10, 1927 – September 16, 2020) was an American ice hockey coach and a member of the United States Hockey Hall of Fame. Kelley was the first general manager and head coach of the New England Whalers of the World Hockey Association (WHA).

While his coaching exploits at Boston University and Colby College, and later at Hartford, gained fame for Jack Kelley, he had earlier been an outstanding hockey player. In 1945 at Belmont High School, he was named the top Boston schoolboy performer.
