Aug 21, 2019 · Janis Kelly has performed with English National Opera for over 30 years. She received worldwide acclaim for her portrayal of the title role in Rufus Wainwright’s Prima Donna, which she performed at the Manchester International Festival (World Premiere).
In Autumn 2020 Janis returns to the ROH as Marcellina and in 2021 appears in Falstaff at Grange Park Opera and Der Rosenkavalier at ENO. In repertoire from Handel to Sondheim, Janis has performed and recorded with major orchestras on TV and radio in the UK, Europe and the USA including the BBC Proms, Aix-en-Provence, Liceu, and Virgin Classics.
