David's wife Judy, the community doctor, notices another resident, Bill, exhibiting bizarre behavior, including lifeless and repetitive speech. That night, Bill locks his wife and son inside their farmhouse and burns it down.
In Pierce County, Iowa; the sheriff is forced to kill the local Rory Hamill who suddenly threatens the community at a baseball game with a shotgun. The sheriff's wife Dr. Judy examines another local, Bill Farnum, who is also exhibiting a strange behavior.
Judy, who works as a nurse for Dr. Brookmyre (Will Disney), is then summoned to the office by the doctor to help treat the traumatized Mitchell children. When she arrives, she is puzzled to find a man wearing a gas mask administering orders and tending to the children.
The Crazies (also known as Code Name: Trixie) is a 1973 American science fiction horror film written and directed by George A. Romero. It stars Lane Carroll, Will McMillan, and Harold Wayne Jones as residents of a small American town that accidentally become afflicted by a military biological weapon.
