Kristin Clotilde Holby was born in Oslo, Norway and raised in Westchester County, New York. She graduated from HS at the Overseas School of Rome in Rome, Italy, and then went to the Philadelphia College of Art. During her second year at art school, she landed an internship with fabric designer Susan Nevelson in Florence, Italy.
Kristin Holby aka Clotilde is best known as a fashion model of the 70's and 80's. She was a muse to Ralph Lauren, a favorite of Yves Saint Laurent and a cosmestics model for the Shiseido. Clotilde also appeared in many editorial spreads for magazines like Cosmopolitan.
