Mar 15, 2018 · Louie on DeMun is a worthy heir to restaurateur Matt McGuire's famed King Louie. Located in the former Jimmy's on the Park space, it has a relaxed charm and distinctive urbane style, with a small, understated sign out front.

Apr 19, 2018 · Nestled in the historic DeMun neighborhood, Louie took over part of the massive Jimmy’s on the Park, which closed in 2016. The long, skinny space features custom floral wallpaper behind a tufted leather banquette, some impressive deer antlers from McGuire’s farm and a back bar constructed from old postal sorting bins.
Dined at Louie for my bday dinner with my boyfriend and I was excited to try it out after hearing wonderful reviews! It's also in my former neighborhood, Demun, which already adds major appeal. We sat at the bar (book reservations for a table in advance!), and the service was delightful.
