Visitors in health-care settings and long-term cares homes will still need to put on a mask when visiting their loved one, the BC Ministry of Health confirmed to Daily Hive. Masks can only be taken off when in single-occupancy rooms of long-term care homes.
People going to courthouses in BC are still required to wear a mask in the courtroom itself as well as lobbies and waiting areas. Several chief justices released a statementMarch 11 saying masks will continue to be mandatory until further notice.
Students going to in-person classes at UBC will need to keep wearing their masks until the end of this term. The campus mandate will stay in place until April 30.
