Jul 11, 2020 · The Edmonton Oilers announced on Saturday that former Washington Capitals defenseman Mike Green has opted out for the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs. He is now the third player to opt-out from the tournament after Calgary Flames defenseman Travis Hamonic and Vancouver Canucks forward Sven Baertschi decided to do the same earlier this weekend.
