Delhi does not have any regional language of its own. Just like its culture, even its languages are adapted from the rest of the country. In the following lines, we have tried to cover almost all of the languages that are spoken in Delhi. The official language of Delhi is Hindi.
These consist of English plus 22 Indian languages: Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Dogri, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Maithili, Malayalam, Meitei, Marathi, Nepali, Oriya, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Santhali, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
