Jan 9, 2001 · Tommy Shannon was a user of Peavey bass amps and Peavey and Deitz enclosures back then. He used 2x15s and a 3620 (2x18+2x10) and a Max head. He tried other stuff but usually went back to the Peavey stuff when the other stuff broke down.
Tommy Shannon (born Thomas Lafitte Smedley; April 18, 1946) is an American bass guitarist, who is best known as a member of Double Trouble, a blues rock band led by Stevie Ray Vaughan. Born in Tucson, Arizona, Shannon moved to Dumas, Texas when he was nine, where he originally started as a guitarist, though he started playing bass at the age of 21.
