Trust Fund movie is a retelling of the prodigal son, but with a modern twist. The lead is Reese (Jessica Rothe), a wealthy young woman used to getting her way. But rather than coming across as a selfish cardboard character, Reese is complex and likeable. We can see her heart, her struggles.

It's a very cute movie with a surprisingly charming cast, telling a very apt interpretation of the Prodigal Son story. Somewhere near the middle it begins to drag - the whole European caper needs a little more suspense and action and detail - for many viewers might not get what's really happening.
