Price Lock
When it comes to bills and budgeting it is always nice to have consistency in order to financially plan from month to month. A benefit to signing up for home internet with Viasat is that you will receive a two-year price lock guarantee. As the price of services and goods continues to rise, you can rest assured that your internet bill won’t budge for 24 months.
Unlimited Standard Data
Another great benefit to Viasat home internet is that you will get unlimited access to the internet every month. The reason this is a benefit is that most of the other options for internet service will come with a data limit each month. Go over that limit and you will be charged additional fees that could send your bill skyrocketing.
High-Speed Data Cap
Although we just told you that you would receive unlimited data every month you will, however, have a data limit on how much access you have to higher speeds. Each level of Viasat’s Choice plans come with a different budget for high-speed data. However, after you utilize your high-speed access you will be bumped down to standard speeds. It’s at these standard speeds that you have no cap on how much data you can use.
Price Increase After Three Months
A sneaky area of the fine print you might miss is that it appears Viasat gives you a small discount on your internet plan for the first 3 months. After that, your internet package will see a price increase for the remainder of your contract. The cost for each Choice plan will bump up to these prices after three months: 1.
