I put a ViXS PureTV card from a Hewlett Packard into another computer, with Windows 10. 10 finds and installs drivers for the card, no problems. Now I need software that can access the ATSC tuner (no need to bother with the NTSC part now) and the S-Video and RCA stereo audio inputs so I can watch TV and digitize tapes from my Super-VHS VCR.

I was able to get my TV TUNER CARD "ViXS PureTV-U 480B0 (NTSC/ATSC) to work in several ways. (1) Via Vista's 64-bit, Windows Media Center, the card is recongnized, and i can watch Directv (after cabling s-video, and, red/white RCA composite audio connections between the Directv Receiver and the TV Tuner Card).
Nov 21, 2009 · There is no video output connector with that card, just the two RF input connectors--one for old analog TV and one for digital TV input. The card has a separate RF tuner chip sets for the separate analog TV and digital TV signal processing.
Between ViXS, DVC100 and KWorld I like ViXS the most, KWorld the least. DVC100 produces image with sort of shimmering, kind of faint noise. KWorld has more color noise but but does not have the shimmering. ViXS is the cleanest.
I am having trouble setting up Windows Media center. It does not recognize my tv tuner; VIXS Pure TV-U 48A3 (NTSC/ATSC) Combo. I am working on a HP Pavillion Slimline s3120n running Vista Home Premium.
