Wolves at the Door is a unique Mission triggered by the Town Event "Brigand Incursion." It tasks the player with stopping a group of brigands from destroying the Hamlet by killing the brigand leader Vvulf.

The key to the Wolves at the Door quest is the Man-at-arms (with Rampart and Defender) and Hellion (with Barbaric Yawp and If It Bleeds). The Wolves at the Door fight is difficult both going to the boss and the boss itself.
Wolves at the Door is random town event that appears once you have at least 4 lvl 5+ characters. It is strongly recommended to be prepared for the event before leveling characters to lvl 5+. This means knowing what party you will want to bring ahead of time.

One way to ensure you’re prepared for this quest is to bring four shovels with you, as you’ll need them after you defeat Brigand Vvulf in order to score a nice treasure drop.
Jul 30, 2019 · Serpent's Sway gives you two blocks, and Shieldbreaker has enough movement to tank the hits if necessary. SB is actually pretty useful for the whole fight, too, since she can reposition herself (and move at-risk heroes out of the way of a Bomb) pretty easily. And Serpent's Sway is just perfect for fights like this.
