Yes with higher power you may hit harder using blade storm, but all your other attacks will suffer for it. For example: Lets say you use blade rush 3 times. (Not including the ataru and offhand) With higher power, you might hit something like 700, 1,000, 900.

I do think the current form of sentinel is a bit too strong and hope they change the "movement 0" effect on to have SOME mitigating effects. The whole "your speed is 0" aspect should have SOME limitation - either a saving throw or not work against monsters with a large size or greater (speed 0 on failure, speed 1/2 on success).

Jan 5, 2012 · Crit and power will be bigger gains point for point. Crit is pretty valuable all around, until a bout 300-400 crit rating, where its diminishing returns becomes significant. Thus, above the 300 crit, and 150 surge rating values, power now becomes more valuable. Prior to those, surge/crit are good. Value of +acc.
I think sentinels are just meant to be a symbol of oppression from a literary stand point: something big and menacing that could potentially kill you, and then being toppled by a smaller albeit more powerful person. Also I think someone just wanted to have giant robots stomp around.
