  4. Mort Stuhlbarg. Mort Stuhlbarg was just out of college at the University of Cincinnati when he moved to Long Beach in 1961 to work for Arvin Industries Inc., then a Fortune 500 company. In 1968 he founded Stuhlbarg & Assoc. Inc., which evolved into one of the original trading firms that was invited to begin doing business in China in 1975.
