The FIA Formula 2 Championship is a second-tier single-seater championship organized by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). Held on racing circuits, the championship was introduced in 2017, following the rebranding of the long-term Formula One feeder series GP2.
Formula Two (F2 or Formula 2) is a type of open-wheel formula racing category first codified in 1948. It was replaced in 1985 by Formula 3000 , but revived by the FIA from 2009 – 2012 in the form of the FIA Formula Two Championship .

Calendar. Formula 2 2024. The eighth FIA Formula 2 season is set to begin in Sakhir, Bahrain on 29 February – 2 March. The Championship will visit 14 different venues, including a maiden trip to Lusail, Qatar, with all 14 Rounds taking place in support of the Formula 1 World Championship.

This season they begin to use a JPH1B F2 car, designed by Williams F1 Team, producing 500bhp from a turbocharged 1.8 litre Audi engine, new Yokohama tyres and carbon composite brakes.
